Mistakes can be erased
What does the Bible say about mistakes? Scripture gives us numerous examples of those who made catastrophic mistakes, some being even irredeemable. It is well-known that humans are not perfect beings and sometimes stray from the way of God. Thankfully, the Word of God offers an opportunity for repentance and reconcilement if we have made poor choices in our life.
Have you ever been provoked by Satan to sin? That's one of his devices to get you to sin against God.
In the scripture above,
1. Satan provoked David to take the census that was not ordered by God. David decided to act on the temptation because he wanted to show off his army but God was against it.
2. David fell into Satan’s temptation; God actually provided a way out for David through Joab’s counsel but David was moved by arrogance to still acted on his own motives.
3. When David realized he had sinned He quickly took full responsibilities and admitted he was wrong and asked God to forgive him.
4. God forgave Him.
Avoid living in perpetual mistakes, You also like David can repent.
Erasers exist because in life mistakes are unavoidable, As a child of God when you make a mistake, simply take full responsibility, go to God ask Him to forgive you, and make a decision to turn away from the mistake.
